Madpackers started with a simple, stubborn belief: that a bed can be more than a bed. It can be the reason strangers become friends.
We didn't want to build hotels. Hotels ask you to keep to yourself. We wanted the opposite — spaces designed so you can't help but meet people.
One hostel became a handful. A handful became a network across the mountains, cities, beaches and pilgrim towns of India.
The line we keep coming back to is the one we started with: a backpacker in every home. It still guides every property we open.
