Q:  What are the benefits of using MadPackers’ services?
A:  Today students and their families are faced with little to no reliable options for how to move their child to and from campus, other than doing the heavy lifting themselves.  Our services save our customers the inconvenience of undertaking these moves on their own, and allow families to spend their valuable time on more important and enjoyable matters.  Not only do our services provide added reliability, convenience, and value, but offer cost effective solutions.

Q:  Does MadPackers provide storage and shipping services at my child’s school?
A:  MadPackers understands that moving to and from campus is a daunting task, regardless of where a student is from or where their school is located.  Our goal is to offer shipping and storage solutions to any student in the United States, allowing students and their families to focus on what is most important about going to college - academic studies and growth as an individual.
 
Q:  What experience does MadPackers have?
A:  The MadPackers’ team has nearly 25 years experience specifically related to Campus Logistic Solutions.  To date, we have provided services to students at over 200 academic institutions from every part of the continental United States, and have even provided solutions for those students attending college in Alaska and Hawaii.  We use this experience to provide you with the most reliable, cost effective, and personalized services so that you can truly forget about the stress moving to and from campus each year.

Q:  What if my child lives in, or is moving to an off-campus residence or apartment?
A:  In the vast majority of cases, MadPackers can provide the same services to students living off-campus as we do for students living in residence halls..

Q:  Does MadPackers’ pack my child’s belongings?
A:  Due to liability and privacy concerns, MadPackers does not provide packing services, just as we would never open any previously packed belongings that are temporarily in our possession.  However, we will provide Door to Door pickup and delivery.  In cases where a student is unable to lift heavy or large belongings, we will work with you to make sure the belongings are packed correctly.

Q:  Do I need to use boxes and supplies provided by MadPackers?
A:  Our years in the industry have taught us that in order to provide a truly stress-free experience, all precautions must be followed to prevent damage before it happens.  That means making sure all belongings are packaged properly according to our packing guidelines.   Our complimentary, double-walled box kits, which include top of the line shipping supplies, truly do protect belongings to a greater degree than boxes you may find around the corner.  

Q:  What if my belongings do not fit in boxes?
A:  We provide several box options to account for all the varied belongings, as today’s college students brings more to campus than just boxes and bedding.   In terms of shipping, MadPackers can only normally ship items that fit inside boxes.  However, our storage services allow for the storage of odd-sized and large items, provided of course that they are packaged according to our packing guidelines.  

Q:  How much do your services cost?
A:  Because we provide services to nearly every campus in the country, and each campus is unique, the prices for our services vary.  To request a quote specific to your needs, please give us a call at 888-MAD-PACK.

Q:  When will I be billed? 
A:  We charge a $50.00 deposit when you book your service. The remaining balance is charged when your belongings are picked up. 

Q:  Does MadPackers provide insurance? 
A:  MadPackers provides limited complimentary insurance on each box shipped or stored.  Additional coverage on each individual package may be purchased for $2 per $100 coverage increment.  Please note that proper packaging is required for insurance coverage to apply.

Q:  How do I file a claim?
A:  As a service oriented business, MadPackers is serious about making sure each of our customers is completely satisfied with the services we provide.  In the event that damage does occur, MadPackers is committed to resolving the matter within 15 business days, provided that the customer follows the following steps: 

    Save ALL damaged belongings & ALL packing supplies.
    Take digital photos of damaged belongings and the supplies they were packed in.
    Notify us immediately with an email to Claims@MadPackers.com.  Include pictures, comments, and attached                 copies of receipts for damaged belongings.

Q:  Does MadPackers hire students to work during the school year? 
A:  Our team truly does recognize the value gainful employment can provide young, motivated individuals while they are in school.  Plus, we feel our job opportunities offer vastly more experience and compensation than a standard on-campus work study.
